Art aficionados take note! Doha art space Fire Station – Artist in Residence will be hosting a special exhibition that brings together the works of two iconic names in art: Pablo Picasso and Alberto Giacometti. Curated by Catherine Grenier, Director of the Fondation Giacometti, the show is categorised into six different sections, each one focusing on specific periods of two incredible artistic journeys from young aspirants to pioneers of the surrealist movement.

Over 120 masterpieces – including letters written between the artists – will be featured and highlights include "Self Portrait", "Woman Throwing a Stone" and "The She Goat" by Picasso and "Flower in Danger", "Tall Woman" and "Walking Man" by Giacometti. As well, the exhibition has created an environment of social inclusion through the availability of various Giacometti's works catered specifically for the visually impaired.
