The first ever art exhibition showcasing works from Pablo Picasso and Joan Miro will be launched in Dubai this March. Titled Picasso and Miro, Passion and Poetry, the event is set to be the largest classical art exhibition in the UAE and has sourced close to 300 exclusive artworks by the Spanish art maestros, from private collections all around the world.

Curated by Sergio Gaddi, the exhibition will be divided into various sections including Creators of Myth, Inventors of New Languages, Jugglers of Form, Poets of Color and Alchemists of Art. Through the clever placement, viewers will have an insight into the duo's lives as well as how they each have an impact on the other.

"The Exhibition's narrative path crosses figures and themes that characterised the graphic experience of Pablo Picasso and Joan Mirò, linked with a fil rouge (common theme), which intertwined their lives," said Gaddi. "However, the exhibition is not merely a journey which tells a dialectic relationship between history and contemporaneity, but also a dialogue between the signs of tradition lived and interpreted by the artists, and the energies that lighted up their creativity."
