Art space Elmarsa is set to present a new group exhibition from North Africa. Titled Yesterday is Tomorrow's Memory, the show gathers a collection of important works by key artists, which have been created over the past 50 years. Those masterpieces are now juxtaposed against works by contemporary artists. These artists have included elements of the past works, adding their own new interpretation to highlight the growing interest in the works of past masters.

There is also a resurgence in the inspiration taken from these past works as evident by the works of prominent modern artists including Thilleli Rahmoun, Thameur Mejri and Emna Masmoudi. The comprehensive multi-discipline show also includes paintings from masters Hatim Elmekki and M'Hamed Issiakhem, ceramics by Khaled Ben Slimane and sculptures by Rachid Koraichi amongst a host of many others.

Yesterday is Tomorrow's Memory runs from May 16 – July 30 at Elmarsa, Al Serkal Avenue, Dubai.
