Jo Malone London presents a new cologne intense fragrance inspired by the Boswellia sacra plant, that is native to Oman. The Middle Eastern inspired scent is presented as a special edition for Ramadan 2015. In this new scent, Jo Malone comes into its own as one of the leading purveyors of fine fragrance. Created in association with master perfumer, Marie Salamagne, using the scent of Omani incense, the fragrance of the fabled Boswllia sacra has been harnessed in nature for almost six thousand years, for its associations with progression and its strong luxurious aroma.

Jo Malone has used a new pioneering technology – NaturePrint – that ensures that the precious source of the fragrant oil remains unharmed, and that the natural properties of the scent are translated directly from nature into the cologne.

"For me, creating an incense fragrance for Jo Malone London meant a scent with a signature elegance and modernity. We wanted a fragrance that played with the brightness of incense, its natural freshness, while embracing its inherent warmth and woodiness. Incense is multi-faceted. My challenge was to accentuate its many qualities and to tame its dark character," said Salamagne, of her work on the special edition cologne.
