Here are some super skincare tips from Meghan Markle’s facialist

Take note
Sarah Chapman, one of London's most sought-after facialists and Meghan Markle's wedding day skin saviour, weighs in on what we need to do for our skin...

ICYMI: Meghan Markle is the picture of health. The mother-to-be is radiating to the high heavens with that pregnancy glow.

But if you’re any kind of a superfan girl (like us), you’ll know that Markle has always looked incredible – particularly on her wedding day.

Her skin saviour? Sarah Chapman, one of London’s most sought-after facialists who lends her incredible hands and knowledge to the likes of Victoria Beckham as well as Markle.

And if we’re going to get any kind of skin advice we’re all ears for Chapman’s fountain of knowledge.

So to begin with, get rid of the anti-ageing stuff. That’s so 10 years ago, according to Chapman. It’s not so much about looking younger anymore, it’s about looking your best, without having to trifle your face up with foundation.

Next is the most important part as per Chapman. Repeat after us: I will use SPF on a daily basis. SPF for Chapman is our skin’s new holy grail. She said to Cosmopolitan UK, “Traditionally, SPFs were chalky; they didn’t feel good on the skin, you couldn’t put make-up on [top of] them well, and they weren’t really nice to wear. But they’ve become so much more elegant. It can feel like a serum or nice moisturiser rather than feeling like an SPF.”

And we have no excuse living in the Middle East. Nope, none whatsoever. It’s not just the sun that impacts our skin, it’s the dreaded blue light from our out-of-control screen time – actually, we’ve got the perfect Sisley product for that very issue

And while you’re at it, check out Chapman’s own line, Skinesis…
