It's the scent that's made more impact on the world of popular culture than any other, and now Chanel N°5 – catapulted to iconic status by Marilyn Monroe in the 1960s – has been given a very 2014 treatment, albeit with vintage overtones, thanks to Moulin Rouge! director Baz Luhrmann, who also devised a similar campaign with Nicole Kidman for the brand back in 2004.

One of today's most recognisable (and well paid) faces fronts the whole affair, with Gisele Bundchen offering a youthfully fresh gloss to the worldwide campaign, which launches today.
