Mayhoola is now helping Spain fight coronavirus

Here's what the Qatar-based group are doing to support the next European country to be heavily hit by the coronavirus emergency...

It’s official — Spain has officially surpassed China in reported cases and deaths, becoming the third worse country to have been hit by the current pandemic, following Italy and the United States. The European country is next to be hit hard as the outbreak has already stretched Spanish hospitals to their breaking point.

After already donating 2 million euros to Italy in the fight against the pandemic, Mayhoola has also donated 1 million euros to support the Madrid Community.

The Qatar-based group (also parent company of Valentino, Balmain and Pal Zileri), are supporting Spain’s fight against the virus and their donation will contribute to the expansion of the emergency field hospital COVID-19 IFEMA, rapidly built within the Madrid Exhibition Center (IFEMA).

The temporary hospital facility will be able to accommodate 1,300 patients (as there’s already been a shortage of emergency structures in the country) and will serve to improve the handling of the health emergency situation in Madrid.

Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected by this pandemic.
