Patek Philippe debuts first women’s watch in 20 years

Worth the wait
There's a brand new women's timepiece that just hit the market and it's been 20 years in the making...

In 1999, luxury watch brand Patek Philippe introduced its now-iconic timepiece, the Twenty-4, to its female clientele across the globe and for 20 years, we’ve been eagerly waiting for a new women’s creation from the Swiss watch manufacturer.

Now, the day has finally come as the maison has launched a new model to add to its women’s offerings.

Following on from the most popular women’s collection, the brand new addition — Twenty-4 Automatic — looks nothing like the original and arguably offers much more to its wearer.

For the first time, Patek Philippe ditched the rectangular design and traded it for a round case for the five new self-winding mechanical timepieces. Available in steel or rose gold, women have the option to choose from a diamond bezel or case made with 469 handset brilliant-cut diamonds (because, why not?), and dial options include blue or grey sunburst for the steel timepiece and brown or silver dials for the rose gold.

The new chapter also introduces impressive mechanical improvements such as the calibre 324 S C, a 36mm round case with self-winding movement (a first for the brand) and a bracelet that also features a new Patek Philippe patented fold-over clasp.
