International Women’s Day 2020: How Net-a-Porter are celebrating

The launch also signals the platform's 20th anniversary
Net-a-Porter releases an exclusive line of t-shirts for empowered women who empower women...

Every year, March 8th holds a significant meaning for women as it’s a day in the calendar for everyone to acknowledge. And not that we need one singular day to celebrate the triumphs of women, however, it’s nice to know that today, women across the globe are celebrating and being celebrated.

Net-a-Porter has long spoke volumes of truth for women and for International Women’s Day, the luxury e-tailor have launched an exclusive capsule collection that consists of 20 different T-shirts, each from a range of iconic brands and female designers.

Whilst 20 designers also signals the 20th anniversary of Net-a-Porter’s existence, the list of brands and designers include Stella McCartney, Gabriela Hearst, Isabel Marant, Amina Muaddi, Charlotte Tilbury and Jimmy Choo (who have now ventured into beauty), to name a few.

100% of the proceeds are set to be donated to Women for Women International —a charity which helps women living in war-torn countries to rebuild their lives — and you’ll be able to feel good and look good with the t-shirts that highlight the designer’s personal interpretation of women’s empowerment and strength.

“This is such a meaningful project for us at Net-a-Porter,” says Alison Loehnis, President of Net-a-Porter and Mr Porter. “We feel incredibly honoured to be raising money for Women for Women International by bringing together inspiring and creative women from our industry in support of the charity’s critical work.”

The t-shirts are available on Net-a-Porter.com now.
