#BuroVisits: Moscow, Russia hosting the first International #BRICSFashionSummit from November 28th till December 2nd, which brought together prominent fashion industry professionals, young designers and experts from diverse countries to be part of the below interesting programs, shows, showrooms and more.

THE SUMMIT INCLUDED A B2B SHOWROOM WITH COLLECTIONS FROM 20 DIFFERENT COUNTRIES.

30 Fashion Brands, Spanning 20 Nations, converged in the B2B Showroom at Zaryadye Park’s Parking Gallery with enthusiastic buyers from China, India, Malaysia,and Russian buyers representing cities from Moscow to Khabarovsk and everywhere in between. The B2B showroom featured a kaleidoscope of styles, from sports chic to urban elegance, streetstyle to evening glamour and an extensive array of bags, travel accessories, footwear, jewelry, kids’ fashion, and various accessories.

Among the showcased Moscow brands are the likes of Akhmadullina Dreams, CHAPURIN, VICTORIA ANDREYANOVA, Loom by Rodina, Surovaya, BLCV, Gapanovich, and more. The Russian contingent includes 1377 (Volgograd), ABZAEVA (Ulan Ude), Buts#8 (Krasnoyarsk), CNS — COINED IN STONE (Rostov-on-Don), IANIS CHAMALIDY (St. Petersburg), Dear Passenger N. (St. Petersburg), HOUSE OF LEO (St. Petersburg), TWO EAGLES (Ivanteevka), and Yana Besfamilnaya (Perm). Internationally acclaimed brands such as Lucas Leao (Brazil), Batakovic Belgrade (Serbia), SADAELS (Argentina), David Tlale (South Africa), Arzu Kaprol (Turkey), 陳宇CHNNYU (China), and Naushad Ali (India) add a global flair to the showcase. Curated by the skilled eye of Elena Davidyants, the showroom’s Advisory Board boasts esteemed professionals from Russia’s top fashion institutions, fashion magazines, and the founders of trendy fashion shops and concept stores.

DELEGATIONS FROM 60 COUNTRIES TOOK PART IN THE BRICS+ FASHION SUMMIT’S BUSINESS AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS.

Representatives from Europe, South-Eastern Asia, the Middle East, Latin America, Africa, and the CIS convened for a dialogue on the fashion industry’s challenges, global market prospects, and collaborative opportunities. With a stellar line-up of over 200 speakers, featuring heads of fashion associations, fashion week founders, fashion school lecturers, designers, buyers, manufacturers, and influencers, the BRICS+ Fashion Summit Business Program is set to unfold in Moscow at the iconic Concert Hall “Zaryadye” and the vibrant Hlebozavod. The extensive program encompassed more than 60 sessions, panel talks, and round table discussions. Livestreamed sessions of the BRICS+ Fashion Summit were available on VKontakte, hosted in the official community of Moscow Fashion Week, and on various Russian and international online platforms.

The plenary sessions delved into pivotal topics such as: How to become a fast-growing brand? The future is here; How technology transforms the fashion industry and more; Fashion brands as an integral part of urban identity; (Not) a useless agent. Public talk with the buyer; Staff in trend. Skills required for a fashion business operator; Wow marketing, Impact content in the fashion industry; Eco lessons are soon learned. How do media and influencers motivate the society towards conscious consumption?; Celebrity style on and off the screen; Shortage of raw materials (In collaboration with the Materials Center); Jobs for AI. Can neural networks replace stylists, designers, fashion journalists, and influencers?

12 INTERNATIONAL DESIGNERS SHOWS TOOK PLACE IN HALLMARK VENUES IN MOSCOW.

Renowned international designers showcased their creations at Moscow’s iconic venues, including the Parking Gallery in Zaryadye Park, the historic Pashkov House, the Russian State Library, and the State Historical Museum. The BRICS+ Fashion Summit’s dazzling fashion shows were broadcasted live on the Moscow Fashion Week’s official VKontakte community, along with numerous Russian and international online platforms.

Joining the prestigious lineup of fashion shows were a curated selection of international brands, each bringing a unique flair to the catwalk. From the unconventional classics of CHNNYU in China to the vibrant designs of Brazilian maestro Lucas Leão, and the elegant creations of Egyptian haute couture brand Hany El Behairy, the runway promised an eclectic showcase. Istanbul Fashion Week’s standout, Arzu Kaprol, joined forces with SADAELS from Argentina, Kunjina from Ethiopia, and the collective Belarus Fashion Show. Serbia’s Batakovic Belgrade showcased its classic style, while Indian designers riteshkumar, KHANIJO, Naushad Ali, and Shruti Sancheti, along with the globally acclaimed David Tlale from South Africa, add an international touch. Russia’s own Alena Akhmadullina graced the catwalk with her eponymous brand, and the talented KEVIN.MURPHY team ensured every model flaunts stylish and trendy hairstyles tailored to perfection.
